Donald Trump is facing growing scrutiny over his decision to strike Iran, and his latest response to escalating tensions in the Middle East suggests an effort to shift the narrative. In a lengthy and forceful post on Truth Social, he attributed Israel’s strike on Iran’s South Pars Gas Field to what he described as an emotional reaction, stating that Israel acted «out of anger».

At the same time, Trump firmly denied any U.S. involvement, insisting Washington played no role «in no way, shape, or form», as he moves to distance his administration from a rapidly widening crisis.
